The Role:
National Account Manager- is responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with our pharmacy wholesales in understanding the unique needs and goals of these clients and developing tailored strategies to meet those objectives. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth. You will have strengths in a combination of sales expertise, market insights, and exceptional relationship-building skills to be instrumental in Haleon's pursuit of sustained success and profitability.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive net sales revenue and operating income for specified accounts / channel within trade spend budget.
- Monitor and optimise trade spend investment and complete ROI analysis.
- Plan and directly manages the activities for the customer.
- Coordinate all category reviews for core brands, and complete business reviews with the customer as required.
- Maximise HALEON range and distribution within all categories in assigned customers, and range new products as per agreed launch plan and in line with business forecasts on assigned categories.
- Execute promotional plans in line with category strategy and HALEON promotional guidelines.
- Maintain and build relationships with the customer and develop joint business plans.
- Achieve Total Net Sales Target for your customer.
- Manage Trade spend for your customer within budget.
- Develop growth initiatives to incorporate into JBP and execute these.
- In conjunction with National Business Manager, ensure execution consistency relating to trading terms and discounts.
- Develop productive relationships with all customer contacts and stakeholders.
- Implement and monitor Promotional Programs including the provision of Regulatory approved advertising of brands.
About you:
You will be an integral member of our sales team and someone you can only continue to build strong professional relationships with our retailers, but someone who is strategic thinker who can is commercial savvy and can drive growth and success. In addition to the above you will have:
- Strong analytical skills- Microsoft office suite
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Highly proficient in office programs especially excel
- Excellent commercial acumen
- National Account Manager experience within FMCG preferred
