National Procurement / Facility Manager

The Opportunity:
  
We are seeking a dedicated and strategic Procurement / Facility Manager to join our high performing team at Velocity Vehicle Group. This crucial role will suit an individual who excels in planning, managing, and optimising procurement activities and facilities management to foster organisational success.

Reporting directly to the CFO / Company Secretary, this role will be based at our Port Melbourne office.
  
Your key responsibilities will include:

• Develop and execute effective procurement strategies that align with company objectives, ensuring optimal purchasing power and risk management
• Conduct thorough market research to identify and select reliable suppliers, manage supplier relationships, and negotiate contracts to achieve favorable terms
• Oversee the entire procurement process, from identifying needs to managing purchase order processes, and ensuring efficient cost-effective acquisitions
• Manage facilities, including regular maintenance, lease management, refurbishments, and potential new property acquisitions
• Collaborate with senior leadership team to align procurement and facility management strategies with broader organizational goals
• Drive the procurement function to identify cost savings, streamline operations, enhance profitability, and optimise internal processes
• Provide regular reports and strategic insights to the CFO / Company Secretary and senior leadership team.

• Proven experience in procurement and facility management
• Strong business acumen, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable plans
• Experience in overseeing property refurbishments and development
• Relevant tertiary qualifications with a high level of reporting capability.
