Work hours: Flexible – Office Open 6.00am - 6.00pm
Comments: Remote work agreements will be considered. Minimum of 4-5 days per month on site.

About the Role:
Openx Doors have just been awarded a large Defence contract which will be delivered over the coming 12 months. The role is a permanent placement which will involve the delivery of this project, along with subsequent projects. The role will include running multiple projects at one time.

OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE
• Lead National Projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget, exceeding client expectations.
• Manage WHS and Quality Control systems to ensure all work is compliant.
• Strategize and implement project management processes and practices that enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
• Managing a project team collaborating with teams internally and managing team targets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers, developing the company's reputation and business opportunities.
• Contribute to the company's growth by identifying new business opportunities and areas for expansion.
• Be an ambassador for the company's values and mission, driving sustainability, innovation and profitability in every project.
DAILY AND MONTHLY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Booking, scheduling and management of internal resources and sub-contractors
• Liaise with customers to coordinate project design, supply, and installation works.
• Monthly progress claim management
• Contract notices, variations, and schedule management.
• Procurement of goods and services
• QC inspections, compilation and completion of ITP and relevant QC documentation
• Monthly reporting of budget to actual/cost to completes for projects.
• Management WHS compliance.
• Ongoing development of project scheduling, inventory management and supply chain management systems.
EDUCATION AND SKILLS
Formal Education: Degree in a relevant field is ideal.
Job specific skills, experience, knowledge & abilities:
Essential
• 5+ years working in construction project management.
• Experience in contract administration – (Preferably Tier 1 and Defence exposure).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English as primary language).
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, associations, authorities, influencers, and consultants.
• Ability to contribute to and work as part of a small and dynamic team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in different geographical locations at once.
• Metrics-driven operations mind with eye for creativity.
• Drive and determination to deliver agreed budgets.
• No compromise approach to WHS and Quality Control.
• Strong project management, multitasking, decision-making and time management skills.
• Understanding of the fundamental mechanical and structural engineering principles.
• Interest and passion for construction, manufacturing, and aviation industries.
• Ability to engage with technical product specifications.
Preferred
• Willingness and ability to travel.
• Experience with Defence HOTO documentation.
Software knowledge:
• MS Office suite (Word/Excel/Outlook etc)
• Experience with project/work scheduling software – MS Project, Smartsheet etc.
• Experience with project management software – Aconex, Procore etc.
