The Opportunity
Reporting to the CEO, the National Sales Managers primary role will be to develop and manage the existing sales force within Australia as well as oversee a number of Major Accounts.
The role would suit a Manager who is passionate about coaching and mentoring the team to get the best out of them and supporting them to reach their goals while leading from the front.
You will also be tasked with Stakeholder management throughout the business, general admin such as approvals for quotes, negotiations and making sure the team is compliant with business practices. The role includes frequent interstate travel to meet with team members and clients.
The company is a leader in the Safety Equipment industry so knowledge and experience in this space or similar environment will be highly regarded.
About You
- Strong experience in Sales leadership roles with a history of performing on targets
- Experience in successfully recruiting, training, managing and building sustainable field sales teams
- Ability to coach and mentor teams to facilitate ongoing training and development
- Ability to travel frequently to support sales teams and attend client meetings with the Sales Consultants
- The role will entail some Key Account Management of Major Accounts
- Lead people to success by implementing agreed on sales strategies and keeping the team accountable
- Work strategically with your team; help them solve problems and take advantage of opportunities
- Strategic, but fast thinker. Be ahead of the game, bring something different.
