Our client, a global leader in power system modeling, simulation, and analysis software, is seeking a results-driven National Sales Manager to join their dynamic team. Their innovative solutions empower industries to optimize Power Systems for efficiency and reliability.
The National Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in our client's growth strategy, leading sales efforts within Australia. This senior-level position involves strategic leadership, fostering client relationships, and managing a team of skilled sales professionals.
Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with our client's growth objectives, identifying key market segments and opportunities for expansion.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing sales team, providing guidance in prospecting, relationship-building, and closing deals.
  • Client Engagement: Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and industry stakeholders, understanding their unique challenges and tailoring solutions accordingly.
  • Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs, driving product and service enhancements.
  • Sales Performance: Drive consistent achievement of sales targets through effective sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance measurement.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and technical teams to ensure solutions align with customer needs.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify and forge strategic partnerships to expand our client's market presence and maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Sales Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates to senior management, offering insights into sales performance, market trends, and growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; an MBA is a strong advantage.
  • Sales Leadership: Proven track record in senior sales leadership roles within the electrical/power engineering software industry.
  • Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to create and execute comprehensive sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
  • Team Management: Experience leading and motivating high-performing sales teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • Industry Expertise: Strong understanding of power system engineering principles and related industries.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking to address complex customer challenges.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as required to engage with clients and lead the sales team effectively.
