About the role
The City of Coffs Harbour is seeking a Night Caretaker to join our Coffs Coast Holiday Parks team offering after hours services to our park patrons.
The successful candidate will use their customer service experience and eye for detail to deliver a range of services to guests and visitors alike including:
- Welcoming new arrivals into the park.
- Responding to after-hours accommodation enquiries, bookings, payments, emergencies, and guest requests.
- Undertaking regular patrols ensuring the safety of patrons and ensure park facilities are secured and monitored.
As the Night caretaker you will also have effective communication skills and be able to report any operational concerns or issues to the operations supervisor or relevant co-workers to ensure prompt action can be taken, there will also be a requirement to liaise with tradesman to coordinate after hours work as required, communicate with Static guards, Security Patrols and police regarding any issues that arise.
This position operates over a seven (7) day roster and the successful applicant will be required to work across all four holiday parks (Park Beach, Sawtell, Woolgoolga Beach and Woolgoolga Lakeside).

Do you have these key attributes?
- Knowledge relating to small plant operation and maintenance, building maintenance, swimming pool equipment and operations.
- The expertise to communicate professionally with all patrons, guests and contractors.
- Mature minded and ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Skills to assess and manage risk in accordance with WHS legislation.
What's on offer?
- $28.49 per hour + Superannuation
- Permanent Part Time 10 hours per week (minimum)
- Onsite overnight accommodation provided when on shift.
- Generous leave entitlements - long service leave after 5 years

Essentials Qualifications and Experience
- Current Class C Drivers Licence (Manual)
- NSW Working with Children Check
Desirable
- Current First Aid Certificate
