Brain Injury Rehabilitation Services are looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join their team. Working out of the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Woolloongabba; this exciting role provides you the opportunity to deliver high quality evidenced based occupational therapy and clinical case management clinical services to patients/consumers within a highly functioning multidisciplinary team. This role will also contribute to the advancement of quality occupational therapy and clinical case management services, and optimal patient care.

About the Role
- Manage an allocated workload to deliver occupational therapy and clinical case management services, including assessment, intervention and evaluation within an interprofessional team in accordance with established clinical & departmental protocols, policies and procedures, utilising evidence-based practice and ethical standards and under clinical practice supervision or professional guidance of more senior staff.
- Liaise and work effectively in a professional manner with clients and their carers, other health professionals, students and external agencies to achieve a client centred approach, utilising negotiation and conflict resolution skills as required.
- Continually develop clinical practice knowledge, skills and expertise through self-directed learning, active learning within a team environment and engaging in professional development activities, including participating in the performance appraisal and development plans.
- Demonstrate initiative in the development of clinical practice, procedures and administrative protocols for occupational therapy and clinical case management and the interprofessional team that support the continuum of care.
