Position

The role of the Office Administrator is to support the Cymax team by carrying out a range of administrative support, as well as managing the maintenance of the building. 

The role is approx. 15 - 18 hrs per week. There is a requirement for Wednesday to be one of the days worked. Once probation is completed there is an option for some flexible working but this is a hybrid role ongoing. 

Duties will include

  • General office duties, answering the telephone and door, filling
  • Data Entry for Finance 
  • Raising invoices for some parts of the business, send statements and provide responses to creditor queries
  • Support for Finance such as chasing creditors
  • Maintaining records and reports
  • Organising social events for the team
  • Liaising and supporting tenants 
  • Managing contractors and third party suppliers to the business 

As the successful applicant you will possess the following key skills and attributes:

We are looking for someone who is reliable, with a commitment and enjoyment in completing tasks. You will be working in a quiet, professional and friendly environment, with a variety of tasks to cover, like finding fun social activities for us to attend and helping our contractors find their way around. 

  • 2 years experience in a previous admin role 
  • Intermediate Knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Have an enthusiastic, can-do attitude and show initiative
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills 
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Courteous and confident phone manner
  • Driver’s license essential

Some experience with Xero or MYOB and using a CRM would be advantageous but not essential.
