We are on the hunt for a Office Administrator to support our inventory department team as our Planning Assistant.
This is a full time role based on site in Brunswick with flexible working arrangements.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, has a keen eye for detail and enjoys working with data sets. You don't have to be a Planning Assistant or come from a retail background, we're looking for someone that is a strong administrator and willing to learn.
About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Merchandise Planner, you will be responsible for the integrity of supply chain and planning data, as well as the operation of many of the day-to-day processes undertaken by the stock planning team.
As the Planning Assistant/Allocator you will be responsible for:
- Registering item records through internal and external (EDI) systems.
- Maintenance of product details in internal and external vendor systems.
- Generating data uploads of product model stock levels per product/location (as established by the Senior Merchandise Planner and Merchandise Planner) for both core & seasonal product.
- Review of stock schedules & assistance in determining adequate stock return/in-store consolidations.
- Promotional & permanent markdown administration and communication for internal and external systems.
- Review & management of aged stock in outlet locations.
- Co-ordination of stock allocations & stock movements.
- Reporting for seasonal & core reviews – style, size & colour analysis.
- Delivering support in assisting with commercial sample packages, seasonal product launch material & co-ordination of department store ecommerce purchases/promotional events.
- Certify all relevant policies & procedures are adhered to and understood.
- Providing courteous and professional customer service for stock enquiries.
Skills & Experience
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and vlookup functions
- ‘Hands On’ approach is essential to this role
- Ability to prioritise workloads, multitask and meet deadlines
- Strong time management skills
- Great attention to detail
- Strong data accuracy and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, enthusiastic
- Knowledge in Netsuite ERP preferred, however training will be provided
The successful candidate will be a committed team player who is confidently adaptable to work at an autonomous level when required.
