AddressM.CHAPOUTIER Australia is an exporter, distributor and certified organic producer of fine wines from our vineyards in the Pyrenees and Heathcote wine regions of Victoria. We also import and distribute the wines from our parent company in France, M.CHAPOUTIER.
The operations role is a strategic position that requires interaction with multiple stakeholders and third party clients and suppliers.
Bi-lingual in English/French is a pre-requisite for this role.
Based either in Melbourne (Hybrid) or at our winery in Heathcote (accommodation can be provided).
The right to live and work in Australia is a requirement.

What the role is about:
Import/Export
- Manage import orders from including:
Analysis of sales data / forecasting to ensure correct stockholding
Customs clearance / Freight Forwarding
- Manage Export Orders ex-Australia for all customers including:
Export approvals
Organic product approvals
Liasing with logistics and freight companies
Ensuring compliance
Liaise with Export Managers > provide sales/order reporting/analysis
Production
- Liaise with Winery/GM to plan bottling, including:
Ensuring correct drygoods > ordering drygoods
Planning stock transfer post bottling to warehouse
Registering products with Wine Australia > ensuring compliance
Label approvals > to ensure compliance
Marketing
- Work with GM to create Marketing Plan (MP)
- Work with sales team to implement MP
- Manage wine trade fairs/festivals/tastings ensuring:
Liquor Licencing and compliance
Attendance when required at festivals
Staff rostering
Support/Admin
- Support GM as required
- Work with Finance team on purchase orders / export customers receivables
