As a Lines Resources and Operations Officer, provide high level administrative and coordination support to the Lines Section Leaders in aspects associated with workforce management. Working in a collaborative team to enhance efficiency within the Operations team.
- Assist Hiring leaders with the on boarding of new staff in relation to the completion of Corporate induction (general & leader induction), team based induction and IT requests;
- Vehicle coordination with the fleet team l including tracking new and replacement vehicles;
- Review formal/agreed training and development plans across the Section undertaking gap analysis in consultation with job owners and employees and assist with training enrolments/requests in consultation with internal training/learning and, assist leaders with employee ATP/ADP alignment with development plans, enrolments and completions;
- Assist the Organisational Training Team to maintain accurate training records in the Learning Management System (LMS) and Learner evidence folders in accordance with legislative, industrial and organisationally mandated business requirements;
- Assist in the identification and scheduling of Lines apprentice development opportunities to satisfy National Competency unit requirements recorded in digital logbooks;

Based in Virginia, you will join our fast growing operations team, specifically supporting the management within the Transmission Lines team.
Your expertise:Essential
- Diploma of Business administration or similar
- Demonstrated high level written, interpersonal and oral communication skills, including the ability to liaise, negotiate and consult with senior management and a diverse range of stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in coordination and delivery of high-level administrative tasks in a fast-paced, operational environment
- Ability to quickly understand the operational environment and prioritise and respond to tasks accordingly
- Demonstrated ability to engage with the necessary human and physical resources to achieve outcomes.
- Ability to produce high quality, accurate work.
Desirable
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - Enterprise Trainer skillset or equivalent
- Experience in fleet or resource management
- An understanding of technical works and a mechanical aptitude
- A genuine interest in the Lines and resources function of our business and the willingness to learn about the operations of Powerlink
