About the role: 

This role is a permanent - Part Time position for 10 hours per week. Based on reception at the forefront of Patterson Lakes retirement community, this role is crucial in supporting across a variety of administrative and customer service activities. You will liaise with a wide mix of audiences, including residents, external visitors, and contractors.    

What you will do

  • First point of contact for the Village, interacting with residents and greeting guests.
  • Answering and managing calls, enquiries, and emails
  • Creation of newsletter and notices, assist with village events
  • Providing a high level of customer care and attention, assisting residents with requests and general enquiries.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Village Manager such as processing invoices for suppliers and residents’ charges and accounts including distributing of monthly billing statements and any reporting and filing requirements.
  • Liaising and coordinating maintenance requests with the onsite Maintenance Officer, and external contractors.
  • Supporting with any other ad hoc requirements

  • Excellent communication skills and able to build strong trusting relationships.
  • Friendly disposition and empathy for the residents with emotional maturity to deal with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills together with the ability to prioritise.
  • Skills in Microsoft suite including Excel preferably and knowledge of SharePoint, though is not essential
