The Gainsborough Bakery is a traditional bakehouse located in Kiama Downs along the beautiful South Coast of NSW. The bakehouse offers great bread and pastry to the locals and beyond. We are looking for a full-time baker and a part-time Pastry chef who is reliable, a team player, and possesses a strong knowledge of all aspects of baking.
Baker's responsibilities will include:
- Mix, knead, rest, roll cut, and shape dough for bread and pastry products
- Mix, rest, and bake a full range of products
- Glaze, dust, and ice products as required
- Apply fillings where required
- Cleaning
- Adherence to OH&S & Food Safety requirements
Pastry chef's responsibilities will include:
- Cakes, pies, sausage rolls production
- Cleaning
- Adherence to OH&S & Food Safety requirements
