Opportunity
We are looking for a Pastry Chef / Pastry Cook to join our team. You will work closely with our Chefs to produce our pastries, tarts, cakes etc. You will be highly creative and have at least three years of relevant experience.
Any indicative salary for the position is $70,000 plus superannuation.
In the role you will be responsible for:
- All aspects of preparing pastries including:
- combining, mixing and kneading ingredients;
- proofing, cutting, moulding dough etc;
- preparation of custards, sauces and fillings;
- baking pastries; and
- decorating pastries
- Working with the Head Chef and Sous Chef / Pastry to ensure service is running efficiently for the venues
- Assist with the development of new products
- Ensure hygiene standards are followed and maintained
