Applications are sought from suitably qualified staff with previous Security experience to work in the Corporate Services department at Echuca Regional Health. This a fantastic leadership opportunity to showcase your skills and previous experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Complete inductions with new staff
- Complete JSA’s appropriate to tasks
- Arrange staffing and equipment required for any special cleaning tasks outside of existing task list
- Waste management and invoicing
- Complete maintenance requests via online reporting tool
- Ensure that all staff Mandatory Training Requirements are met within 12 months
- Complete all required staff annual Performance and Development reviews
- Equipment training eg machines, oxygen tanks, appropriate use of chemicals and cleaning equipment, correct disposal of waste
- Rostering of staff
- Assist in the Performance Improvement process and Return to Work process
- Maintenance of positon specific task lists and work schedules
- Attend meetings and training when requested by Corporate Services Manager
- Responsible for the day to day activities of the rostered Corporate Services staff
- Adherence to ERH policies regarding confidentiality with all staff, patients & visitors
- Backfill shortfalls on security roster

- Understanding of the Victorian Cleaning Standards for Public Hospitals
- Current Security Licence
This position requires completion of a satisfactory National Police Check and (where relevant) provision of a Working With Children Check and check on the Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme prior to appointment.
