An experienced, enthusiastic, and professional PAYROLL/ACCOUNTS PAYABLE OFFICER and OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR, is required at our office in Bundamba.
Key Responsibilities
- Weekly payroll processing for 80+ employees in Sage Micropay
- Processing and lodgment of monthly Superannuation, Payroll Tax and payroll deductions
- Collation and processing of supplier invoices into Pronto
- Weekly and monthly creditor payment runs
- Reconciliation of creditor accounts
- Petty cash handling and reconciliation
- Assist with monthly stocktake
- Log key raw material purchases and fuel usage
- Sales order price checking
- Maintaining debtors ledger
- Purchasing support
- General reception duties
- Ordering of office/safety supplies
- Adhoc tasks for Accountant and Management Team
Your profile
The successful candidate must possess:
- 3-5 years experience in a similar role
- experience with Sage Micropay (preferable)
- intermediate Excel skills
- good organisational skills,
- great attention to detail,
- good communication skills
- excellent time management skills
- the ability to work within strict deadlines
- patience and be approachable
- the ability to respond effectively to changing priorities and work demands
- the ability to provide a long term commitment to the company
- a willingness to perform other ad-hoc duties
Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
The position will operate from 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday to Friday
