Our client is a prominent global provider of rail and transit solutions seeking Payroll Manager to join and oversee payroll in the ANZ region, with a particular focus on Australian payroll involving multiple entities and cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strategies for risk and crisis management.
Offer guidance on software, pay, legislation, and policies.
Assist with payroll updates and reporting.
Document payroll procedures to ensure compliance.
Manage tax and compensation payments.
Ensure precision in termination and leave reconciliation.
Interpret and adhere to regulations.
Review time and attendance data.
Lead and train the payroll team.
Address ad-hoc payroll matters.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience with MicrOpay is a must.
Minimum 7 years of experience as a Payroll Manager.
Proficiency in various payroll systems, especially MicrOpay.
Familiarity with timekeeping systems like Mitrefinch.
Proactive approach to process improvement.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Excel.
