Innovative provider of health & wellbeing services across multiple locations in Victoria and approx 2000 employees.
Reporting to the Group Payroll Manager and working closely with the Senior Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for the delivery of accurate and timely end to end fortnightly payroll across all services.
Duties will include :
- Previous experience as a Payroll Officer, processing end-to-end high-volume (1000+) fortnightly payroll.
- Processing payments associated with payroll such as workers compensation, paid parental leave entitlements and termination payments.
- Update and extract time and attendance information from PayGlobal/HumanForce system
- Provide administrative support such as tasks associated with new and exiting employees and the accurate maintenance of employee data and files.
- Support PAYG, Super, Payroll Tax & Payroll reporting .
- Provide professional payroll services to all employees by acting as the first point of contact for any payroll related enquiries
- Proactively resolve payroll queries in a timely and effective manner or escalate where appropriate
- Ensure confidentiality of employee records and payroll information
- Development and delivery of regular and ad hoc reporting..
Key Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of end to end payroll processing in a Health/Aged care setting across 24/7 rosters
- Understanding and ability to interpret very complex awards and EBA’s including Nursing & Healthcare & Education
- High attention to detail
- Strong customer service and communications skills
- NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance
- Current Victorian Drivers License
