Due to the rapid growth within the Health Care sector, we have an open position for an experienced Payroll Officer.
About the role
Operating with a team environment and reporting into a highly supportive Payroll Manager, this role will see you processing complex end to end payroll, whilst providing high quality service to employees. This role would be suitable for an individual who is attentive and driven to succeed as well as performing the following:
Duties:
- Perform end to end payroll
- Process leaves calculations, long service, maternity and parental leave
- Interpret complex EBA's & Awards
- Demonstrate strong customer service to the highest level
- Undertake terminations & redundancies
- Adhere to all payroll related queries and manage the payroll query inbox
Skills and Experience
- Experience working within a large, complex payroll environment
- Experience using Chris21 is highly desirable
- Experience within the Health industry is highly desirable but not essential
- Proven experience performing end to end payroll
- Strong understanding of EBA's & Awards
- Excellent written, verbal & interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service
- Proven ability to develop effective partnerships to proactively find solutions and efficiencies in processes
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and develop workplans to achieve deadlines
- Ability to work well within a team environment
