About the role
Our office is located in the heart of the Melbourne CBD Collins Street Location.
You will be responsible for the weekly and fortnightly pay run process in a timely and accurate manner. This role will see you actively working with employees and line managers to administer reports regarding all matters related to payroll and remuneration.
Reporting to GM, Finance & Shares Services your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- End to end processing of weekly and fortnightly payroll for over 150 employees.
- Oversee the temporary and on hire casual’s payroll function.
- Updating and maintaining payroll records.
- Liaising with consultants and management on payroll related queries.
- Maintaining leave, sickness, and overtime reports.
- Interpreting awards/agreements and contracts in relation to overtime, shift allowances etc.
- Calculation and payment of termination payments.
- Other Payroll Administration duties as required.
Fair Work Modern award knowledge is a must requirement!
About you!
As the preferred candidate, you will have:
- Demonstrated payroll processing knowledge and experience.
- Excellent Microsoft suite experience.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Ability to interpret awards and relevant legislation.
- Strong payroll administration skills and commitment to service excellence.
