The P&C Advisor provides high-quality, professional advice and support to the organisation and its leaders on day-to-day staff and employment matters whilst also supporting strategic initiatives. You'll report to the People & Culture Manager who encourages autonomy, working to your strengths and creates a consultative working relationship. As the first point of contact for leaders, the Advisor supports, coaches and provides operational advice on all elements of the employee lifecycle which is key as this organisation is on a growth trajectory; both organic and through acquisition.The P&C Advisor will have responsibility for advising across the following:
- Policy interpretation and application
- Employee relations
- Workforce planning
- Performance management
- Disciplinary processes
- Learning and development
- Remuneration and benefits
- Workplace health and safety
- Return-to-work strategies
You will have held a similar role as a proven generalist with HR experience providing advice to leaders across the organisation, ideally within the health, disability, NFP or values-driven sectors. You must possess skills in various HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, workforce planning and remuneration, with a strong grasp of contemporary practices. Proficiency in interpreting HR legislation, policies, and procedures is essential.
