The position will complete the functions of Human Resources and Return to Work, providing advice and assistance to management and staff on HR, RTW and employment related issues. Key Responsibilities for this position include: Support MDS management in all facets of HR including management of recruitment / selection, performance management, employee relations and Return to Work functions Provide support to MDS leaders to effectively manage performance and to identify and implement workforce training requirements Contribute to the development and review of all HR processes Be an active participant on the MDS learning and development committee and assist in the development initiatives for business leaders in line with business and HR strategy Support internal Training as required Support MDS to ensure all workforce compliance requirements are met including those under the NDIS Commission for worker screening and required training. Supervision of the HR officer and Rostering Officer duties The successful applicant will have: Tertiary qualification (Certificate 4 or above) in Business, Human Resources or a related discipline Solid generalist HR experience preferably within the not for profit/ community sector. Sound experience resolving complex and diverse employee relations matters Sound knowledge of workplace and employment related legislation and regulation, policy and practice Demonstrated high quality and comprehensive administrative skills Demonstrated personal integrity and ability to deal with sensitive / confidential issues with discretion Desirable: Training/experience coordinating return to work programs NSW Drivers licence NDIS Worker Clearance Working with Children Clearance Covid-19 Vaccination Located in Campbelltown, this Position is Fixed Term due to a parental leave position 25/03/2024 - 20/12/2024 working Full time 76 hours per fortnight. This role is covered under the SCHADS Award as a Level 5/6 ($47.50 - $54.19 per hr) commensurate on experience of the candidate. Also offered is a 9 day fortnight, opportunity to work from home up to 2 days per week, salary packaging, flexible working hours, Laptop, Mobile and leave loading.
