The role you will play:
As the People and Talent Business Partner, you will play the lead role in driving the People, Culture and Talent strategy for Render globally, with the support of a Talent Partner in the US (to be hired). You will also have the support of our outsourced People & Talent partner - We Are Charlotte, during the initial phase of your journey with us to ensure we set you up for success!
You will drive initiatives that enhance our organisational culture, nurture employee growth and commitment, and promote a dynamic, inclusive, and innovative work environment. Your purpose is to cultivate a great employee experience by engaging employees along each stage of their journey, enabling them to thrive and achieve Render’s mission and strategic objectives. You will act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across the business to ensure that we support our team with the utmost professionalism and care.
Your mission @ Render:
- Design and execute employee engagement strategies and programs to boost morale, retention, and productivity.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Global employee inquiries.
- Hire and onboard a US-based colleague to expand the footprint of the P&C function for Render across our key markets
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes of all staff, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires into our team
- Oversee the roll out of Render’s performance framework - fostering a culture of accountability, shared success and growth;
- Advise on staff training and coordinate learning and development opportunities
- Provide advice and assistance on policies, procedures and legislation
- Update and maintain HR administration and system data (we use BambooHR)
- Manage staff reward and recognition
- Support with company social activities / events
- Drive the TA strategy and support the TA Partner with talent acquisition activities, ensuring that we attract top talent aligned with vision
- Assist managers and track probation review processes
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or a related field.
- 5 years’ experience in a People & Culture Generalist role, preferably in a startup environment.
- Experience in a Leadership capacity within a P&C function well regarded
- Experience working in or servicing global teams, particularly the US, well regarded
- Excellent track record in planning and executing people strategy and operations relating to engagement and enhancing the employee experience
- Ability to work autonomously to deliver in a fast-paced environment where creative thinking, problem solving and resourcefulness is important.
- Preferred, demonstrable experience identifying talent, recruiting and managing a program of retention and attraction
- Supporting fast growth and international organisation and program of change
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise
- Excellent communication skills, solution-focused and collaborative, in both physical and virtual teams
- Positive mindset with a strong alignment to Render’s values and mission
