Working closely with the Business and Branch Managers in the field, your role will be hands on and see you involved in the day-to-day operations of the Victorian (& NSW) business. You will work alongside another experienced People & Culture Advisor in VIC and a team of Advisors in our other states, to support with providing timely HR advice, support and consultancy to Managers and employees. Other key responsibilities include:Workforce planning and labour forecastingProvide workforce reporting to managers as requiredFacilitate disciplinary conversation and processes ensuring best practice, compliance and legislative requirements are adhered toLiaise with the P&C Coordinator to facilitate an exceptional candidate experience through blue collar recruitment and onboardingBe responsible for the end to end recruitment process of allocated white collar positionsLiaise with the Return to Work and Injury Management Officer to support the field employees through Workcover processesWillingness to travel to branches to attend toolbox meetingsEnsure alignment of the vision and values of Buildsafe in relation to the development of People and Culture strategiesAbout you:You will have a generalist HR background with a good understanding of talent acquisition and employee relations. Selection Criteria;Demonstrated experience working in an Advisory/Generalist role (minimum of 2 years)Relevant tertiary qualification (desirable)Previous Employee Relations and industrial Relations experience within the blue collar spaceCoaching skills at both an organisational and individual levelExcellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities of the organisationA proactive, professional and customer focused approach with the ability to influence and negotiate effective outcomes whilst positively contributing to a team environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsAn understanding of and complete commitment to confidentialityTrue culture carrier and leaderStrong computer, analytical and problem-solving skillsWe know you have options… so here is what is in it for you:The opportunity for you to work with a passionate and motivated National P&C team.
