We are seeking an exceptional People and Culture Business Partner to help support our business and our high-performing teams. Reporting to the Chief Marketing & People Officer, The People & Culture Business Partner will play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience at MyBudget.
You will excel in communication and empathy and be able to connect with P&C team members and employees at all levels fostering a positive workplace culture that is driven by our values, high achievement and a mission to help all our clients.
This multifaceted role requires a motivated individual with a deep understanding of day-to-day HR operations, a passion for people and a commitment to building strong, positive relationships with our diverse team.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about leadership development and training creating initiatives that energise, empower and develop others and create commitment to the future growth of MyBudget and our employees career pathways.
Responsibilities:
Employee Relations:
Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance and support on a wide range of HR matters.
Conduct regular check-ins with team members to promote open communication and address any concerns proactively and respectfully.
Leadership Development and Training:
Develop and implement a comprehensive leadership development strategy that aligns with MyBudget's goals and values.
Design and deliver training programs to enhance leadership skills, foster teamwork, and drive organizational success.
Talent Management:
Collaborate with the talent acquisition team to identify key talent needs and contribute to the recruitment and onboarding processes.
Work closely with department leaders to assess talent development opportunities and implement strategies for career progression.
Performance Management:
Guide team members and managers in the performance management process, offering support on goal setting, performance evaluations, and the creation of personalised development plans.
Provide coaching and feedback to ensure a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
Employee Engagement:
Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, morale, and overall satisfaction.
Organise regular team-building activities, recognition programs, and employee feedback sessions to strengthen the sense of community within MyBudget.
Policy Development and Compliance:
Stay informed on relevant employment laws and regulations, ensuring that MyBudget's policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant.
Collaborate with the legal and compliance teams to address HR-related legal matters in a timely and effective manner.
Diversity and Inclusion:
Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives to create a workplace that values and celebrates differences.
Work towards fostering a culture where every employee feels heard, respected, and included.
Employee Recognition Programs:
Design and implement employee recognition programs that celebrate achievements and contributions aligned with MyBudgets values.
Foster a culture of appreciation through regular acknowledgment of individual and team accomplishments.
Experience Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
6 years of progressive experience in HR, with a focus on people management capability and leadership development.
Solid knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage, motivate and inspire diverse audiences.
Proven experience in designing and delivering impactful learning and development programs including leadership development.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex HR situations.
