Mount Barker District Council’s People and Culture Team is growing and is excited to be seeking expressions of interest from motivated human resource management professionals to provide a Business Partnering service in a rapidly growing organisation.
In this role, you will provide expert human resource management advice on a diverse range of matters within the employee lifecycle. You will partner with managers to champion employer of choice principles, best practice employee relations and sound industrial relation practices, in order to drive engagement and employee-focussed wellbeing to the next level.
Our ideal candidate will possess well-rounded human resource management knowledge of applicable legislation and processes as it relates to Local Government, with significant experience in industrial and employee relations. All candidates should have exceptional communication skills and a passion for supporting staff and supervisors in the organisation. Experience with Local Government is highly desirable.

The salary for this role will be aligned to the successful candidate’s skills and experience, but will range between $99,368 and $113,243 (pro rata for Part Time hours) plus superannuation per annum.
