Australian Family Medical is seeking a full time Practice Manager to lead our team of health care professionals on Davey Street in Hobart.

About the role:
We are looking for a Full Time Practice Manager to bring structure, process, and business growth into our clinic. The practice will have fourteen consulting rooms. In this role you will manage all day-to-day operational requirements of running a professional Medical Centre.
Tasks and responsibilities include:
- Set up the practice systems and process for the opening of the new clinic.
- Manage the reception team workflow, lead, and support them to manage patient appointments and make the clients feel welcome.
- Appointment scheduling.
- Billing procedures.
- Support for Health Professionals.
- Privacy and quality controls of patient files and notes.
- Support finance functions with reporting and ad hoc tasks.
- Provide quality leadership to create and support a harmonious, professional, and engaging practice environment.
- Assist in the marketing plan and business development plans.
About you:
- Prior experience in medical practice management.
- Demonstrated people management skills.
- Thorough understanding of the financial processes related to Medicare rebates and medical practices.
- Experience with Best Practice (advantageous).
- Previous experience in Practice Accreditation.
