The Department of Communities brings together the services and functions of disability services, child protection and family support, housing, community initiatives and regional services reform.
The Opportunity
As a Principal Applications Specialist, you will provide consultancy services and the day-to-day support across the Department’s wide-ranging suite of applications which includes the departments Housing and Tenancy Management Systems (Habitat), including troubleshooting and problem resolution, as well as coordinating solutions with external Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Service Providers.
You will also assist with facilitating the design and the configuration of ICT system changes, administrating security, and authorising requirements (User Access and delegations) and maintains Security Reports for Audit purposes and provides responses to Audit findings.
You will have a strong ability to lead complex technical projects and excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all levels of the organisation.
