UGL are seeking applications from Process Engineer's to fill a permanent position. As part of our Fuels & Energy portfolio, the PEM&AM team is an established and growing team that aims to become the market leader / provider of choice for niche brownfields Asset Management and Project Delivery in the Terminals space.
This role will work with a team of various disciplines to provide safe, reliable and efficient expertise to the Project Teams.
About the role
Perform Process Engineering activities for the various contracts and provide safe, reliable and efficient technical expertise to the business, in line with industry practices, Client's Specifications and UGL policies.
The Process Engineer is responsible to provide engineering design, supply, installation and commissioning support to the project scopes.
Role supports the Project Delivery Lead in the management and delivery of all critical project control elements, including Cost, Schedule, Quality, Risk, Information Management.
Work with the Process Engineering Team within the engineering team across all project phases from concept to execution to produce technically acceptable standard of work and design deliverables
Ensure all aspects of the Process engineering design effort including design calculations, drawings, specifications and technical documents are delivered accurate, cost effective, on budget and schedule and fit for purpose for the project and business requirements
Undertake Process Improvement studies as requested by the client
Work with the Lead Process Engineer to engage and manage specialist external resources where required to meet the project deliverables
Ensure the safety of designs through application of specialist expertise, standards, design reviews, risk assessments and risk management
Work collaboratively with maintenance and project team ensuring completion of design deliverables safely while maintaining technical accuracy, quality, budget and schedule
About you
To be considered for the role the following qualifications will be highly regarded:
Tertiary Engineering qualification
Bachelor's Degree in chemical engineering
4 years of Process Engineering design experience with engineering contracting or consultancy organizations in the resource sector, oil & gas and/or petrochemical industries
Demonstrated ability to engage and influence at all levels internally and externally
Experience in managing multi-disciplined project teams across multiple projects simultaneously
