The Role
As a Product Developer focusing on special projects, you will play a pivotal role in resourcing products to drive cost saving initiatives. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, and evaluate supplier capabilities, to help deliver a solution to optimise our product portfolio.
Based at our Sydney Head Office, this is a 12-month fixed term contract, with the potential to be extended.
What you’ll do
Lead special projects focused to achieve cost savings targets and enhance business competitiveness.
Track sampling with suppliers to ensure deliveries are made in a timely manner.
Prepare garment samples, embroidery, print, fabric, and lab dip swatch submissions for school approvals.
Maintain our systems data integrity for existing and newly developed styles, including, cost prices, supplier, and embroidery information.
General Product Development tasks, as required.

Requirements
Excellent project management abilities, including prioritization, planning, and execution within tight deadlines
Proven experience in product development or sourcing, preferably within a manufacturing or consumer goods environment
Experience in garment construction & manufacturing processes, preferred
Proficient in Outlook, Excel & Word
Experience in Illustrator, Pronto & Trello is highly regarded
Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
