About the role:
To help us continue our growth trajectory, we’re in search of an experienced tech-passionate Product Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of product management from concept to commercialisation taking full P&L business ownership of focus categories. The role will ensure that the product solutions are delivered, from factory to the market shelves, on-time in-full with 360 degree marketing activation, aligned with external and internal stakeholders. Critically, this role will proactively identify business opportunities, objectively prioritise them and gain organisational support to fully exploit it.
You will also be responsible for:
- Developing and driving the product/business growth blueprint across cross-functional teams.
- Analysing customer needs, current market trends, competitor offering and potential sourcing strategy that yield sustainable ROI.
- Analysing product requirements and developing appropriate compliant solutions with 3rd party factories.
- Developing and coordinating with all functions to ensure product development timelines are met.
- Articulating and aligning go-to-market plans with stakeholders, measuring results to modify business plans. This will include above and below the line marketing elements.
- Ongoing management of focus categories’ business health and improvement points.
Your key duties will be to:
- Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by engineering teams.
- Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, pricing, revenue, and profitability.
- Analyse market data to co-develop sales pitch and define product objectives for effective marketing communications plans.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams on the development, QC, and release of products resources to ensure success for the entire organization.
- Develop product positioning and messaging that positions Autobacs as the innovation + quality gold standard in the automotive electronics/electricals marketplace.
To be considering for this role, you must have;
- A degree or higher diploma or working knowledge in electronic/electrical product design/engineering will be crucial.
- Strong experience in a dynamic product management role.
- Proven experience overseeing all elements of the product commercialisation lifecycle.
- Highly effective cross-functional team management.
- Previous experience co-developing and executing product marketing strategies.
- Strong commercial/communication acumen to excite functional teams across geographies.
