Form of workThe leading supplier of medical gas and resuscitation equipment is seeking to appoint the newly created role of Product Specialist to assist in driving their vision of product expansion.
The ideal applicant may come from a background in nursing, the bio-chemical sector, you may have previously worked in a medical devices organisation or as a Product Specialist in another niche or complex product industry.
What is most important is your ability to identify new to market products or complimentary products to the existing range for the team to be able to offer their valued customers.
Duties include;
- Researching, evaluating and identifying suitable new products
- Negotiating supplier terms and determining profitability metrics
- Reviewing specifications
- Uploading new products to the website via WooCommerce
- Writing product descriptions, uploading technical specifications and troubleshooting tips
- Editing product catalogue content
- Input purchase orders
- Complete pricing updates
- Upload promotions and other product offerings
- Provide some sales support to customer
Current product range includes 400-500 product lines across 20 suppliers. They are seeking to include an additional 10-20 products on a monthly basis as the initial goal.
This role will suit someone seeking a permanent part-time role with flexibility and WFH opportunities in a great company with an amazing culture.
You must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident as this is a permanent part-time position. Please note this role is based in Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
