The Opportunity...
The Arnhem family are seeking a Production Coordinator to join the team. The role is part time at 4 days with the opportunity to move to full time in the future. Reporting to our CEO, and working closely with our Founder, Designer and Garment technician, you will be responsible for the delivery of all milestones across the critical path and coordinating our production calendar.
Your major responsibilities include:
Planning and execution of critical path clearly defining strategic timeline with deliverable deadlines to ensure that plans can be delivered on time and with profitable margins.
Creating and updating monthly style trackers to ensure all styles meet critical deadlines with the factory.
Placing and updating Purchase orders with the factories.
Actionable planning for sustainability and execution for tangible results for accuracy across the range, volume, and raw material.
Trouble shooting and providing support to the team members to drive solution-based results in a fast-paced environment.
Communicating with leaders of the business and team members on Key Challenges, which may affect timelines.
Continuously sourcing new sustainable fabrics & trims alongside the creative team.
Conduct weekly Production meetings to ensure critical path is maintained and launch dates are met;
Collaborate with Designer on initial concepts and research;
About our Ideal Applicant…
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role; experience as a Production Coordinator in the apparel industry.
- Up to date with industry software and technologies (e.g. InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and the Adobe Creative Suite); Cin7 experience desirable, however not crucial.
- Excellent knowledge and hands on experience in garment construction, fabrics and fits.
- A genuine awareness and interest in sustainability and sustainable production.
- Knowledge and experience in fabric testing, textile properties and quality assurance.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, with a proven positive attitude in working relationships.
- Positive and can do attitude.
- Experience in working collaboratively with a wide range of organisations and individuals
- Strong organisational skills to adhere to critical path deadlines and strong negotiation skills.
