Production Manager (Nutritionals)

The Opportunity

Leading and managing the operations and performance improvement activities of the Shepparton Nutritionals production department, you will meet scheduled production requirements associated with schedule attainment, quality, cost, and safety. The Production manager Nutritionals will contribute to the development of the long-term strategy and operational budget for the site.

• Lead the production team by providing strong leadership and mentoring
• Driving quality improvement to maintain and achieve Nutritionals first time quality targets.
• Ensure Line standards are accurate within the business operating system and ensure that the production schedule is achievable and adhered to
• Provide strategic support to the leadership team including input into the development of the long-term strategic plan
• Ensure OPEX program is supported/implemented into the Nutritionals facility.
• Promote and contribute to continuous improvement including supporting and coaching line leaders

What you’ll bring

You will be a strategic and commercial thinker, who is ambitious and passionate about achieving strong results, all whilst ensuring the health and safety of our workforce.

• Tertiary qualifications in Science, Engineering or related discipline
• Experience in a similar role, managing production in an FMCG environment
• Technical understanding of milk, and milk proteins
• Demonstrated people leadership experience within a unionized environment
