This role will review and make recommendations to the Law School Executive and will ensure decision-making is driven by student feedback and best practice in legal education.Your excellent people management skills will be utilized to manage the performance of a high functioning team, who are responsible for monitoring and improving student experience, providing policy-and operational advice, and ensuring compliance with both internal and external governing bodies.Your key responsibilities will be to:Manage the Professional Law Programs team in order to maintain a supportive work environment and culture of continuous improvement.manage the curriculum and program planning and delivery of the LLB and JD, and provide strategic planning, policy advice and to the Law School Executive in relation to the Professional Law Programsplan, manage and develop the Sydney Law School’s Professional Law Student Services to ensure an effective and high-quality student service which is integrated with and aligned to the Law School Education Portfolio and the University’s central Student Administrative Servicesdesign, implement, review and improve administrative systems and processes to ensure best practice is achieved and meets the strategic objectives of the School and University,work with multiple stakeholders, including internal and external professional and academic staff, students, and external bodies to provide a high standard of customer service and to negotiate and influence successfully to achieve desired outcomes.About youHolds relevant tertiary qualifications, or training, and or equivalent experienceprofessional experience working within an education setting and leading and managing a student-focused administrative servicedemonstrated experience supervising and leading a high performing teamstrong written/ verbal communication, interpersonal and negotiation skillsexcellent organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines, demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making skills within a broad frameworkdemonstrated ability to engage and maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholdersproficiency in Microsoft office applications and other education based databases, and experience identifying and using different technologies to support and improve administrative processes.To deliver on our business requirements, there is a requirement for this position to work in-person.
