Responsibilities:
- Program/project planning– develop realistic and achievable program schedules in consultation with and local teams and signed off by local team leads. Manage materials and resources to meet the demands of the project deliverables.
- Project assurance–establish and maintain risk management process and tools, and actively monitor risk, project performance and deliver across the entire program of work. Mentor, coach and provide advice and support to the local project managers for risk management and project delivery methodology. Establish project data requirements to support project progress tracking and risk identification. Drive lessons learned initiatives and feed improvements back into the projects in real time.
- Change control–develop and maintain change/issues log/govern change control process for appropriate consultation and impact assessment, elimination or reduction of impactor where necessary appropriate presentation and approval of changes by all required parties, and robust change planning and execution.
- Stakeholder management– be the fibre team representative and champion to stakeholders and customers; develop appropriate customer project reports and frequency with as little disruption to fibre PM/teams as possible. Communicate effectively to the customer and any internal stakeholders throughout the project.
- Communication–establish effective communication channels with the fibre team members across the country for maximum outcome and minimal disruption. Develop and own communication plan in consultation with the fibre team.
Skills:
- Minimum of 3+years’ professional experience in Telecommunication or IT Industry a program management role
- Minimum NV1 clearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills
- Previousexperience in a leadership role, demonstratedstrong leadership characteristics
- Telecommunications knowledge–internal & external plant
- Demonstrated experience managing projects & programs
