Deliver Sport and Recreation outcomes for schools, sporting, and community groups in the targeted Program Officer role.

We are seeking a Program Officer for a temporary two-year (full-time) role based at Sydney Academy of Sport located on the Northern Beaches.
We offer a competitive salary to the right candidate, ranging from $72,692 to $106,440 per annum plus allowances ($12,979), 11% superannuation and 17.5% leave loading. About the role
The Program Officer delivers a range of sport and active recreation programs to a variety of different client groups. You will be experienced in delivering sport and outdoor recreation activities, with the ability to deal effectively and professionally with clients from diverse backgrounds. You will have an excellent understanding of Child Safe practices and apply a strong risk management approach. You are adaptable and can work individually and as part of a team. You have excellent communication capabilities and are able to provide clear, adaptable, and easy to understand verbal instructions to clients.
Essential requirements of the Program Officer role include:
- Degree level tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or a Diploma or Certificate IV in Outdoor Leadership/Recreation as well as relevant industry experience.
- Ability to work nights and weekends and willingness to undertake roster based on-call responsibilities during residential programs. This role will involve overnight stays on site at the centre.
- First Aid and CPR qualifications.
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) Clearance.
- National Criminal Records Check.
