Brian Perry Civil is in a strong growth period with long-term secured projects ready to start. As part of the Fletcher Building group we deliver a wide range of civil construction projects across New Zealand and the South Pacific, specialising in civil structures, 3 waters, ground improvement, foundations, and piling work.
We are seeking a strong Project Administrator for a 9 month fixed term contract with the potential to extend or become permanent to work on our new Hikuwai Bridge Project, Gisborne.
This person will have experience in a construction industry environment that has 3 + years experience in financial administration using JDE software and is very proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Procore or Aconex (not essential but preferred).
Reporting to the Project Manager your key responsibilities are as follows:-
- Project Set up
- Procurement (including creating PO's, delivery receipting & Invoice processing)
- Bulk Supplier administration
- Project close out - C3 process
- Project document control
- Booking accommodation, car rental etc

What we are looking for in an ideally candidate is as follows:-
- At least 3 years' experience in financial administration and JD Edwards Accounting Software (Preferable in the Construction Industry).
- Proficiency in using MS Word, Excel, Outlook. Procore or Aconex experience preferable.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in English
- A high level of interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate document control or quality document administration
- Have the ability to be proactive & develop solutions to problems
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
