Permanent opportunity for an experienced Project Administrator to join a dynamic architecture firm based in Melbourne's CBD.
The Project Administrator will work closely with the Practice Manager to perform various coordinating tasks, including administrative duties, handling financial queries and collaborating with the finance team to contribute to the accounting and financial processes running smoothly.
The day to day
- Act as the point of contact between the Project Directors & Project Leaders and Finance and sub-consultants
- Work with the project team & Finance to eliminate blockers
- Follow up queries with sub consultants
- Assist Project Directors & Project Leaders with office management systems (Synergy)
- Assist in preparation, issuing and entering of invoices into Synergy
- Prepare presentations, spreadsheets and reports
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria
- Relevant project administrative experience and ideally in a fast-paced organization
- Must have experience creating, preparing and issuing invoices
- Experience in construction/design industry is highly desirable
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, adaptability to new software packages
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good problem solving & analytical skills
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Must be comfortable working from the office full time (or minimum of 4 days per week)
