Form of workAre you Project administrator looking for a new and exciting opportunity? We are now seeking applications from experienced administrators who have a track record working within mission critical environments.
The successful applicant will coordinate project activities, manage schedule and ensure project deliverables are completed within time and within budget. You will help project management teams with administrative tasks and supporting activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the PM to coordinate commercial project aspects
- Assist with Project Status Reporting
- Assist the project manager in the development of project management documents such as project budgets, project schedules, scope statements, and project plans.
- Execute project management administrative and bookkeeping tasks such as managing invoices, purchase orders, and inventory reports, among other financial documents
- Coordinate work schedules and meetings.
- Assisting in the Maintenance of a Project Schedule
- Assist in the coordination and creation of Project Documentation
- Continuous organizational improvement (e.g. through regular lessons learned)
- Assist the PM with the management of the project roll out
- Subcontractor Coordination
- Project Purchasing and Logistics, together with Procurement
Skills Required
- Proven experience in project administration
- Understanding of AUSDEFCON contracts is highly desirable
- Experience in using project management and project scheduling tools
- Hands-on mentality and willingness to solve issues that arise
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts
- Proactive in accepting project challenges
- Ideally a technical background in mission critical infrastructure/applications
- Security clearance or ability to obtain one
Due to the nature of this projects applicants are required to hold Australian Citizenship and be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
