About us
THE CENTURY GROUP is the most progressive and dynamic entertainment business in Australia. Established in the mid 1980’s by the Eliades family upon purchasing the then derelict Enmore Theatre in Newtown, the Group has grown and evolved across three generations over five decades. Century drives bold initiatives thanks to a leadership and staff who collectively believe in the vital importance of live entertainment, artists and the built legacy of theatres and live performance venues. Century saves iconic venues, revives historic theatres, and opens vibrant new live venues. We work effectively with government and publicly owned performing arts centres, notably The Concourse in Chatswood. Century develops artist careers, tours, and presents them in the UK, Europe and USA and we continually expand the live entertainment landscape, positively impacting the event, nighttime, and visitor economy, adding too, and increasing urban vibrancy.
