Company Profile:
I currently have an excellent opportunity with a very reputable multidisciplinary consultancy based in South Australia. They have an exceptional pipeline of work in 2024 and beyond across Structural and Civil in particular. Projects varying in size and sector across Commercial, Retail, Industrial, Office, Sporting Facilities and Heritage. A business that has been established for around 15-plus years. A consultancy that prides itself on having high staff retention and long-lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality and innovative structural designs and documentation for building structures with large complexity, including but not limited to high-rise developments, health, educational and sporting facilities.
• Leading and managing projects from concept design to construction within budget and delivery time frames.
• Liaising with architects, project managers, builders, developers and other relevant project stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
• Mentoring and developing engineers, contributing to growing the structural team and growing the portfolio of clients.
• Delivering technically accurate, cost-effective and optimum designs in accordance with Australian standards.
• Contributing towards innovation and technical improvement of projects and designs.

Required Experience

• Strong experience designing and consulting for SA building and construction projects.
• Strong track record of accomplishment including +6 years of experience across large-scale commercial building structures.
• Concrete design experience with exposure to columns, foundations, reinforced concrete slabs and beams, post tension slabs and beams, lateral design, and shoring design/basement structures.
• Steel and timber design desirable
• Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach
• Exposure to software such as ETABS, SPACE GASS, Microstran, RAPT, WALLAP, RAM Concept and Strand7 is desirable.
• Currently have CPEng or working towards it.
