Expectations of the role:
In the new role as Project Manager, you will be a key figure in the projects team and involved in all facets of the development's life cycle.
- Supervise, execute and project manage current and proposed residential living projects across the business, delivering projects within agreed financial parameters and programme.
- Report to China head office regularly. regularly and efficiently reporting to directors and shareholders.
- Ability to lead and performance manage a construction team to achieve agreed outcomes.
- Full development management lifecycle including the planning & approvals process through to delivery, & construction activities.
- Liaising and leading internal resources as well as managing external consultants whilst developing project strategies throughout the life cycle of each project.
- Negotiate, lobby & manage relevant stakeholders and authorities across each project.
- Assist with assessment and feasibility of acquisition opportunities.
Requirements:
- You will have a minimum of 6 years of work experience with an Australian-based construction company or developer.
- Sound knowledge in financial analysis, modeling, development, and acquisition analysis within the property industry.
- Tertiary Education in Engineering or Construction Degree or Qualifications in Engineering, construction, project management, or related fields.
- Experience in managing medium-density mid to high-rise residential projects and end-to-end construction and building project management.
- Sound knowledge of the Sydney construction market.
- Strong in contract negotiation and management of the site acquisition process.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, pre-construction management, and collaboration with in-house project teams.
- Experience in management of end-to-end life cycle of projects, from inception to delivery.
- Experience in residential development and project marketing is favorable.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and costs.
- Solid report writing skills and Mandarin preferred.
