The role of the Project Manager will be pivotal in the delivery of the Finance Modernisation program by project managing a portfolio of initiatives to deliver realisable benefits on time and within budget.
Please note, this is a full time, permanent role.
Your part in our UnitingCare team:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to determine realisable, value-adding initiatives in line with the project portfolio.
- Deliver projects and identified scopes, ensuring the delivery of business outcomes through efficient use of people, capital and process.
- Working closely with the team to establish an effective project management environment for delivery; including sourcing, design and establishment of project team, project stakeholder engagement, change management and alignment to frameworks and processes.
- Lead a relevant and supportive working group of project specialists, finance subject matter experts, cross functional and vendor/partner resources to deliver on project objectives.
- Set objectives and prioritise tasks, ensuring good project cadence is established to deliver results.
- Manage project costs, resources and the delivery of benefits.
- Deliver project risk and issue management.
- Deliver project performance reporting.
- Contribute to the development of sound business cases for initiatives.
- Undertake project post-implementation reviews to enhance the delivery of future projects.
- Partner and influence key stakeholder groups including Procurement, Digital & Technology, and Strategic Partnerships Team.
- Foster a culture of high performance, professionalism and continuous improvement that encourages individuals to identify opportunities and solutions to improve service delivery, achieve outcomes and meet deadlines.
What makes a difference for us?
- Formal or professional qualifications in Information Technology, Business or related discipline Certificate or Diploma in Project Management; or PRINCE2 / Agile Certifications.
- Project Management experience.
- Experience Project Managing multiple projects simultaneously ensuring best practice delivery methodologies.
- Highly organised with a high attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully managing and delivering projects to achieve critical business outcomes.
- Capability in project planning techniques including the ability to assess and manage risks, costs, resources, and outcomes/deliverables.
- Proven stakeholder engagement and management skills at executive and senior management level with the ability to lead / influence a diverse group of people.
- Excellent problem solving and problem resolution skills.
