As a Project Manager, you will independently manage and ensure successful implementation of the project, focussing on all aspects of project management; including scope, budget, schedule, quality, procurement, resources, communications and risks.
Here’s how:
- Manage the development of the project proposal documentation and estimates and develop a comprehensive Project Management Plan.
- Manage the development of contract specifications and conduct tender evaluations
- Simultaneously manage multiple projects with varying complexity of scope.
- Effectively negotiate, coordinate activities and maintain constructive working relationships with team members and key stakeholders
The community you will join:
Based in Brisbane, you’ll join our Major Customers and Energy Transformation Delivery team that delivers critical infrastructure and transmission services, connecting Queenslanders to a world-class energy future. Our transmission network extends 1,700km from north of Cairns to the New South Wales border, and comprises 15,345 circuit kilometres of transmission lines and 147 substations.
Your expertise
- Tertiary qualifications in an engineering, project management or equivalent discipline
- A current ‘C’ Class drivers licence
- Demonstrated industry experience in managing projects in an engineering or construction discipline with in High Voltage industry.
- Demonstrated understanding of applications in high voltage power systems.
- Proven ability to deliver projects and develop structured team/project plans (including scheduling and resourcing.
We’d also love you to have:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in contract management and contract administration
- Proven experience in applying relevant legislative requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the use of Project Management tools (SAP, Microsoft Project, Project Server etc.).
