Job Description
- Conduct monthly analysis and financial reviews, engaging with property managers to provide accounting guidance for a designated property portfolio.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of monthly balance sheets.
- Perform various financial accounting tasks, including accruals, journal entries, and prepayments, contributing to the overall financial integrity of the portfolio,
- Oversee the outgoings calculation process, from verification and approval to auditing and billing, ensuring adherence to established procedures.
- Manage the on-boarding of new properties into the group and facilitate the closure of properties post- sale or transfer.
- Proactively participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and training for stakeholders.
- Engage in diverse ad-hoc projects to contribute to the continuous improvement and effectiveness of operations.
The successful candidate will be an Assistant Accountant with 3-4 years of experience within property, or an Accountant who currently works in the property space. The successful individual will have the ability to analyse data and assess responses from property managers and stakeholders, and communicate with stakeholders in an effective manner. The business is seeking a driven, partially qualified or newly qualified Accountant who is looking to progress their accounting career in the property space.
