We are recruiting for a flexible and reliable person to join our Gold Coast Reception team (working across both our busy clinics, located at Coomera and Nerang). If you would like to apply, please add the phrase ‘Live well’ to the top of your cover letter,
Psychology receptionist responsibilities:
- Providing a welcoming first point of contact as you greet and check-in patients
- Answering phone and email enquiries
- Calling clients on the waitlist to assist with maintaining a full appointment diary for 10+ clinicians
- Manage appointment setting, rescheduling and cancellations
- Processing payments, Medicare rebates and invoicing third parties
- Following up referrals where required
- Administering paperwork and questionnaires
- General reception/administrative duties such as faxing and scanning
- General clinic cleaning and adhering to OH&S practices
Skills, qualifications & experience
- 12+ months experience in a Reception and/or Administration role
- Must be available to work evenings until 8.00pm
- Excellent time management and organisational skill
- Professional phone manner
- A high level of attention to detail
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
