About the Position
As an integral part of the publication function of the Data and Digital Services Team, the Publications Officer supports and assists in the preparation of the Commission’s documents (i.e. decisions, orders, and determinations) for publication on the Commission’s website. The Publication Officer is also responsible for assisting with the publication of additional documents such as hearing lists, ballot results and other information.
Working closely with the Senior Publications Officer, the Publications Officer works within established guidelines and procedures to respond to and deliver professional support to the Commission staff regarding preparation and publication of documents i.e. systems support, style guidelines and templates.
Duties
- Support the day-to-day activities of the team in the publication of documents through internal systems (caseHQ).
- Work within established guidelines and procedures to respond to general enquiries from the Commission’s staff regarding the preparation and publication of documents.
- Support the team in publishing additional documents such as, ballot results, transcripts, and other information.
- Assist in maintaining a number of databases including those related to the Commission website, subscription services and internal systems.
- Assist in the preparation of procedures and guidelines of team activities for other Commission staff in relation to document preparation and publication.
- Other duties as directed by the Senior Publications Officer.
