- Level 5, full-time appointment on a two-year fixed term basis
- Base salary range: $76,422 – $84,705 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation

About the team
The Oral Health Centre of Western Australia (OHCWA) is a collaborative Centre involving the University of WA’s School of Dentistry, Curtin University and the WA Department of Health. The Centre is the primary focus for Oral Health education, research and specialist care delivery in Western Australia. It will treat approximately 14,000 patients per annum and deliver several clinical and technical training programmes.
About the opportunity
As the appointee you will under direction provide a high level of support for the stores and relevant purchasing needs. You will report to Finance Manager and assist with the purchasing needs for the OHCWA and Dental School in the management and supply of stores and consumable items and their storage for the clinical service activity, research and administrative activates and accurately records related transactions.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will demonstrate:
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent competency
- Considerable relevant purchasing and stock taking experience at an appropriate level.
- Good knowledge of purchasing process and procedures.
- Supplier sourcing experience. (Desired, not essential)
- Knowledge of dental materials and equipment and their relevant uses. (Desired, not essential)
- Ability to work independently, show initiative and work productively as part of a team.
- Highly developed written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills.
- Relevant computing skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to and awareness of cross-cultural issues.
- Knowledge of relevant Occupational Health and safety and equal Employment Opportunity legislation.
