About the Role
The Purchasing Officer is accountable for the review and compliance of all purchase requisitions raised within the Shires purchasing system, as well as undertaking purchasing activities across the Organisation.
Reporting to the Team Leader – Contracts and Procurement the core responsibilities include:
- Review and/or raise requisitions, ensuring compliance and governance of each purchase with all established policies and procedures
- Maintain purchasing and supplier records including centralised purchasing arrangements
- Administrative support to the Contracts and Procurement unit
- High quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders
About You
- Experience with TechOne procurement or similar product
- Demonstrated experience in Purchasing.
- Extensive administration experience supporting a team with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to build and maintain effective and productive relationships.
